Today we launched our biggest ever fundraising drive on Indiegogo.
As you can imagine New York is an extremely expensive and difficult city to establish a sporting club. As a young organization that is fully self-funded with very little sponsorship or alumni, we struggle to keep afloat.
We are reaching out for funding because we need some essential training equipment plus help to subsidize our administration and running costs.
This includes tournament and league entry fees, field hire, purchasing equipment (balls, tackle bags, cones, medical kits etc), transportation, player registration, coaching and creating marketing and sponsorship materials for the club – all essential for attracting investment and recruitment for the club.
To reward people’s generosity, we have put together a list of Brooklyn Rugby swag that we are looking to give back as a thanks for their donations. This includes brand new Brooklyn Rugby jerseys, specially created t-shirts, fitness classes, calendars, bumper stickers, Christmas cards and digital goods.
